JAMESG (also known as jamesmakesmusic) is an artist, entertainer, and semi-professional Heelyer residing in Minneapolis, MN. Between his distinguished music catalog and viral Heelys videos, JAMESG has amassed over 1 million music streams and 100 million video views over the past five years. His paradoxical approach to entertainment keeps people guessing. Is JAMESG for real, or is this all just a joke?

 

From a young age, James became infatuated with music and entertainment. At age 11, he began creating original music and sketch comedy videos. Years of experimentation led to the origin of JAMESG in 2012. However, JAMESG really began defining his sound in 2018 with his self-produced EP, Dumb. JAMESG’s music blurs the lines of introspection, social commentary, and satire. Clever punchlines over hard-hitting, self-produced instrumentals provide listeners with the choice of finding deeper meaning or taking things at face value.

 

Along with finding his sound in 2018, JAMESG began to make Heelys videos. In early 2020, these videos went viral and garnered attention from major online entertainment platforms such as LadBible, 9GAG, and It’s Gone Viral. This exposure led to a performance on America’s Got Talent in 2020. Since then, JAMESG’s online following has continued to prosper with his Heelys content at the core.
